Rendering with Tachyon
This tutorial guides the reader through a myriad of rendering options accessible from VMD's graphical interface that are available when rendering images with Tachyon, a ray-tracing renderer that uses a realistic lighting model to yield images with a sense depth. This tutorial focuses on features recently added to VMD that affect Tachyon renderings. We assume the reader has a working knowledge of VMD and refer inexperienced readers to the VMD tutorial. Requires Tachyon and VMD. Tutorial works on Windows, Mac, and Unix/Linux platforms.
