Protein sequencing is very important for the understanding of biological processes and diseases but very few methods are available for protein sequencing. Biological and solid-state nanopores have emerged as a platform for cost- and time-effective DNA and protein sequencing tools. Currently, I am working on understanding the mechanism of SDS-assisted protein and SDS-assisted nanopore protein sequencing using molecular dynamics simulations.
